Overview
RateForge is a Shopify app developed and operated by Cryptix Solutions (Yasir Kadhim), Emser Straße 55, 65195 Wiesbaden, Germany. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect data when you use the RateForge app.
Data We Collect
Shop Information
When you install RateForge, we store your Shopify shop domain and an OAuth access token provided by Shopify. This is necessary to communicate with the Shopify API on your behalf (e.g. registering carrier services, reading products).
Shipping Configuration
We store the shipping rules, delivery methods, and canvas configurations you create within the app. This data is held on our servers in order to compute shipping rates at checkout.
Checkout Data
When Shopify requests a shipping rate, it sends us cart details (items, quantities, destination address, weight). We use this data solely to compute and return the applicable shipping rates and do not store it persistently.
How We Use Your Data
- To provide and operate the RateForge shipping rate service
- To authenticate and maintain your Shopify session
- To manage your billing subscription via Shopify Billing API
- To calculate and return shipping rates at checkout
We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties for marketing purposes.
Data Storage
Data is stored on a server located within the European Union. Access tokens are encrypted at rest. We retain your data for as long as your app installation is active. Upon uninstalling RateForge, you may contact us at info@cryptixsolutions.de to request deletion of your data.
Third-Party Services
RateForge integrates with the Shopify platform. Your use of Shopify is subject to Shopify's Privacy Policy.
Your Rights
